SOCS Training: Music + Tuition (Adding Pupils to make Paired or Group Lessons)

Here is an early look at paired or group lessons ... LAMDA is used as an example but could apply to any instrument/discipline/sport/subject:

You may need all or some of these sessions if you have more than LAMDA 1:1 lessons (and these shared lessons have a different charging rate):

LAMDA (A Person) if you wish you could call it LAMDA 1:1 (A Person)

LAMDA 1:2 (A Person)

LAMDA 1:3 (A Person)

LAMDA Grp (A Person)

All the pupils should have the right lesson session selected for the type of lesson(s) they will be taught. You cannot put a pupil with others, for a shared lesson, unless both/all the pupils have the same session type for the teacher.

In terms of pairing or grouping pupils ... you cannot set them up in pairs/groups BUT you can put them together when one of a pair (or group) has had a lesson scheduled.

What this means in practice is ... choose a 'lead' pupil and schedule for them (hopefully all fixed but if you want to use the rotation tool that will also work very nicely with grouping pupils). Once you have scheduled all the lessons for the lead pupil (however you schedule) the other pupil(s) can be added to the lessons. If they are a sequence of fixed lessons or done as a rotation (using the tool) if you add to the first lesson of the 'lead' pupil they can be added to this lesson and all future lessons (BUT only the ones that exist in the future and are part of a fixed or rotation tool sequence). If you add rotating lessons week by week you have to add the pupils to each lesson, each week.

Edit the lead pupil's first lesson of the term (or whenever their first lesson is):

Here is the 'adding' stage:
