When adding or editing a team sheet, you will have the option of publishing the team sheet to your public facing sport website.
Please note, this rule is automatically applied by default as the majority of schools will publish team sheets. To unpublish the team sheet, untick the highlighted rule below.
More information can be found here.
Alternative Methods of Distributing Team Sheets
If you decide not to publish team sheets then you can distribute team sheets to pupils and/or parents via email. To do this, select either highlighted option below when viewing a team sheet.
Note - The email will open in your default mail application (e.g. Outlook) and will therefore be sent directly from your email rather than via SOCS.
You can also distribute team sheets by printing them to attach to a notice board for example.
Pupil Name Display on Team Sheets
If you do publish team sheets, full names will be displayed by default (e.g. John Smith).
It is possible to change the name display on team sheets to the following options:
Please get in touch with support@socs.tech if you would like to change the way names are displayed on your sport website.
You can also password protect your team sheets using The Security Module. Password protecting the whole sport website is also an option, if required.
Pupil/Parent Login
We recommend setting up individual logins for pupils and parents. If you are using SOCS Co-curricular, this will likely already be setup. Please get in touch with support@socs.tech if you are only using SOCS Sport and do not have this functionality available.
More information about parent login can be found here.
Removing Team Sheets from your SOCS Sport Website
You can control the visibility of team sheets on your public-facing sport website, providing you with greater control over the information shared on your website.
To do this, you will need to update the settings in SOCS Sport > School Settings > Team Sheet Password:
